The Nile in Aswan at the end of the nineteenth century
Nubian songs have a special rhythm, related to the nature of the Nubians’ land and their daily lives.
The film reviews the history of Nubian song through the ages, pointing out when Nubians began to use the Arabic language in their songs, before which they were confined to the Nubian language. The film also highlights the most important musical templates and the rhythms that characterised Nubian songs.
تتميز الأغنية النوبية بأن لها مذاق خاص وإيقاع مميز ومرتبط بطبيعة أرض النوبة و بالأحداث اليومية عند النوبيين. يستعرض الفيلم تاريخ الأغنية النوبية عبر العصور ودخول اللغة العربية على بعض الأغنيات بعد أن كانت مقتصرة على اللغة النوبية فقط مع إبراز أهم القوالب الموسيقية والإيقاعات التي تميزت بها الأغنية النوبية
